Horse Race Simulator is a free, browser-based racing game that lets you customise and race up to 10 horses on an animated oval track. Give each horse a name and a color, choose how many laps to run, then hit Start Race — no download, no account, and no install required.

How does it work?

Each race features realistic speed variation. Horses accelerate and slow down naturally throughout the race, driven by a per-frame random walk and a stamina model that affects how they hold up in later laps. The finish order changes every time, so no two races are the same.

The race sim is built entirely with vanilla HTML, CSS, and Canvas — no frameworks or dependencies.
